The AACL-Johannesburg has awarded Rand Park Primary & Glenanda Primary School (sharing) their “Kind Cup” floating trophy for 2025.

This award originated in 2001 and is annually presented to a school that has demonstrated the highest level of support and commitment to the AACL-JHB during the past year.

Glenanda Primary School initiated a money collection drive in aid of the AACL-Johannesburg. Learners enthusiastically supported the cause, went the extra mile, and an impressive amount of R11 737,20 was raised and handed over to the AACL JHB. Congratulations and thank you once again! Glenanda will hold the Kind Cup till June.

Rand Park Primary hosted the ‘Kindness in a Tin” Small Change Collection Drive twice in 2024 and 2025 and collected the outstanding total amount of R9361 for 2025 in their collection tins. The school has further been supporting this project for many years.

Rand Park Primary School is continuing their support in 2026 with collecting the fantastic amount of R12 193,30 in their first collection tin drive for 2026! Thank you!

They will host a 2nd drive in October ’26.

What an example of kindness and support.

We appreciate your hard work and kindness.

These schools’ support unquestionably make a huge difference in the lives of the hundreds of needy animals in the AACL-JHB’s care, and we’d like to encourage and invite more schools to get involved with “Compassion in Action” pet food & small change collection tin support drives in 2026!
