The Animal Anti-Cruelty League – Johannesburg’s Carols in the Garden 2023 initiative will bring families and the community together to celebrate the start of the festive season whilst raising valuable funds for the animals under our care and protection.
Carols will be sung by the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls Choir and accompanied by a Marimba band from local schools. Music groups and artists will serenade and entertain guests between carols.
An artisanal market will allow guests a chance to get in some gift shopping for Christmas, with Santa’s arrival entertaining the children whilst parents relax in the tranquil atmosphere in the gardens at Benvenuti Function Venue
Yummy food stalls will be available or bring your own picnic basket.

This year, all funds raised from the Carols in the Garden initiative will contribute towards ensuring that AACL-JHB is able to continue protecting and caring for animals in the community beyond 2023. Our ability to assist stray animals find new homes, vaccinate and sterilizing animals from low-income families through our veterinary welfare hospital and educate the public on responsible pet ownership will be strengthened through all funds raised.
