IN MEMORIAM

We are extremely saddened to announce the passing of our ex Chairlady of the Animal Anti-Cruelty League Durban, Joyce Northend, on Sunday 24 May 2009.

Joyce began the Society in Durban in January 1959 and ably steered the helm in the many years that followed, becoming a legend and doyen of Animal Welfare in KwaZulu Natal, up until her retirement in 2008.

We have lost our dearest friend and an extremely valued member and Trustee of the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.

You will definitely be sorely missed by the League, countrywide, and of course by the many animals you fought so hard to protect, especially, your beloved cats.
