To celebrate 50 years of service to the community and introduce our supporters to the Bequest Society, we are holding a brunch at the Westville Country Club. A complimentary cocktail on arrival will be followed by a scrumptious hot breakfast as well as fruit juice, muffins, toast, preserves, tea and coffee.

Our guest speaker is Dr Kerry Easson who is well known in the greater Durban area, for her  work with exotic animals. Mrs Val Wise, a founder member of the Durban AACL Branch, will talk about our history and pay tribute to the legendary, Joyce Northend who retired as Chairperson in December 2007.

Vickie Collins, our vibrant and hard working Chairperson who took over the reins, will chat about our vision for the future of the Durban League and how your Bequests can make this dream a reality.

Well known singer and entertainer Nicole de Gruchy will sing evergreen favorites such as "Unforgettable" and many others. She is joined by the charming and suave Mr David Yapp who will be our MC for the morning.
