		The Ladysmith branch is situated at 201 Newcastle Road in Ladysmith and presently caters for up to 40 dogs and 16 cats. Annemarie Van Dyk is our kennel supervisor and she is on hand to help with adoptions, caring for and feeding our strays. Willem Badenhorst is our Inspector who investigates any complaints of cruelty and other queries pertaining to animals.
		We also board a few dogs occasionally when possible. We have a lady who visits the local junior schools trying to get the message across although we still haven't formally tackled the education issue enough.
		The committee of the Ladysmith branch has many plans for the future as the land surrounding the kennels is in the process of being donated to us. We intend to completely refurbish and build new kennels and runs for our animals with the help of local business as well as the Lotteries board, who have committed to donations.
