The Animal Anti-Cruelty League – Johannesburg’s Carols in the Barn 2019 will bring families and community together to celebrate the start of the festive season, whilst raising valuable funds for the animals under our care and protection.

Carols will be sung by a beautiful children’s choir and accompanied by a Marimba band from local schools. Music groups and artists will serenade and entertain guests between carols.

An artisanal craft market will allow guests a chance to get in some early Christmas shopping, with pony rides and Santa’s arrival entertaining the children whilst parent relax in the tranquil atmosphere of the Penbritte Equestrian Centre.

Picnic baskets will be available to order, along with yummy farm style pizza’s from the onsite Saddle and Spur restaurant.

Entrance fee: Adult R50 and Child R20 (under 12yrs) Family R150 (2 adults and 3 children under 12)

This year, all funds raised from the Carols in the Barn initiative, will contribute towards ensuring that AACL-JHB is able to continue protecting and caring for animals in the community beyond 2020. Our ability to assist stray animals find new homes, the vaccinating and sterilizing animals from low income families through our veterinary welfare hospital and educating the public on responsible pet ownership will be strengthen through all funds raised.
